Leon's Cathedral

This has to be the most stunning example of Gothic architecture.

It's simple soaring lines.

The vibrant colored stained glass windows.

The impact of light coming through the myriad of stained glass windows.  How it changes with each moment of the day.

To think that this was built in just 50 years in the 13th century by a townsfolk that numbered just 13,000 is amazing.

Let the pictures do the talking.
